What Is Blood Type Personality?
Blood type personality, also known by the Japanese term ketsueki-gata, is the belief that a person's ABO blood type influences their personality, behavior, and even compatibility with others. Similar to astrology or personality tests, the theory groups people into four categories based on blood type: A, B, AB, and O. Each type is associated with a unique set of strengths, weaknesses, and emotional tendencies. The idea became especially popular in Japan during the 20th century and continues to appear in books, magazines, television shows, and even dating discussions. Some companies and schools have also used blood type stereotypes in the past, although this practice has become less common.
